I emphasize to my sellers the importance of the very first impression and feeling a buyer gets when they walk in. The angle and shadows of lighting to the color schemes are equally as important as the furniture and de-cluttering. In the past it was very difficult to convince homeowners to spend a few dollars to bring in a professional home stager. However, recently I have had clients who broached the subject first and have asked if I thought home staging was worth the cost and I have stated, ABSOLUTELY!
This past month (July) I sold a gorgeous lake view bungalow that was tastefully decorated with furnishings, artwork and decorative displays by you 180 design and your associates. The furniture styles, color choices and lighting that you chose introduced a spectacular ambiance and feeling in each of the rooms throughout the home.
Two showings were scheduled that afternoon and each prospective buyer wrote an offer on the spot. During the showing, the buyers had sat on the furniture and conversed with me as though they already lived there. It was spectacular! It was the most natural and comfortable sale I have ever experienced.
Staging absolutely WORKS! Not only did I sell the property (which I truly believe was due to the staging) but both buyers had also wanted to purchase all the furnishings and the artwork.
Your additional assistance helping my buyer choose the ‘little extras’ beyond what they already purchased through your staging, definitely gave my clients that ‘WOW’ factor!
180 Design, and especially you Lisa and your team of experts, without a doubt helped to sell this home much quicker and easier. I have learned the value of a good stager and I will recommend you to all my future clients.
